Goodnight, you king of New Jersey

I will never love another the way that I have loved you.

As the Corleones rule cinema, the Sopranos rule television.

I seem to be in the minority who think that was a dawning "Oh, Shit!" look on Tony's face at blackout. I counted five possible hitmen ... two of them were re-visited by the camers - and could well have been Tony's bodyguards. Remembering who the last Corleone was to die in Godfather III ... maybe Meadow????

Oh, I agree.
I think the telling moment was when Tony clumsily grabbed AJ's hand with uncharacteristic, overt emotionalism...like a strange, awkward goodbye...
I will miss the entire experience of watching and wondering and waiting and worrying about all of them.
Maybe in a year or so I will begin at the beginning and view them all on DVD...
after an appropriate period of mourning, of course.

Yes-- with all the focus on Meadow (I was half-expecting her car to go up in a blaze of bad-parking) it kind of lead me to believe she was going to get it. Of course, I had to see the ending three times before it all coalesced.

Sundays are a yawning abyss now.
